Waiting for the next revision
I love GPS devices, and when I heard about the 405 coming out, I figured that it was worth a try to replace my Edge 305 when it came to jogging and cycling.

Replaced my Timex, training partner, and coach.
Bottom line up front: I wear this watch every day, and it meets my form, fit, and function.
I have only owned a Timex so I cannot compare the 405 to the 305.

Best Training Tool Ever!!!!

One-star reviews?
The one-star reviews baffle me. If my 405 didn’t work whilst I was sweating, I’d send it back! That would be like an oven not cooking when it’s hot!

THIS THING SUCKS
I am an avid fan of Garmin’s GPS devices for use in cars. They are very small, have loads of features and usually work flawlessly.

Fantastic watch despite bad reviews

great companion
It took a couple of runs before I got the hang of it, and I’m still learning more of its features. What I want to know is at my wrist at the touch of a bezel or button…

Excelent investment
I gave this Garmin 405 to my wife as a gift for the Mother’s day. She loved it and uses it on every race that we go. It is excelent.
